The thing about a game weekend is that it is not really about the three hours in the stadium. It is the tailgate before, the drive back after, and the eight people who all want a shower at the same time on Sunday morning. A hotel handles none of that well.
Green & Gold Basecamp is a four-bedroom house on the west side of Green Bay with a foosball table, an enclosed porch, a driveway and a detached garage. Lambeau, Titletown and the Resch Center are all close. If your group is bigger than eight, Gala Court Oasis in Appleton sleeps sixteen and is a straightforward drive up.
Cold-weather games are their own thing. The house has heat, a washing machine for everything that got soaked, and somewhere to put fourteen wet boots.
