Mile of Music fills downtown Appleton with sets across venues up and down College Avenue. It is a festival you walk rather than sit at, which means the thing you want at the end of the night is a real bed and a kitchen, not a hotel room twenty minutes the wrong way.
Gala Court Oasis is the obvious base: five bedrooms, a pool and a hot tub, and a short drive into town. Our two Oshkosh homes are further out but still an easy run up the highway if Appleton is full — which it usually is by July.
