EAA AirVenture lodging in Oshkosh

Two of our homes are in Oshkosh itself — a short drive from the flight line, with a kitchen, a washing machine and somewhere to put your feet up after nine hours in the sun.

A week in late July, every year

AirVenture brings hundreds of thousands of people to a city of about sixty-six thousand. Hotel rooms within an hour of Wittman are spoken for a long way out, and the ones that are left are not cheap. Camping on the grounds is the real experience, and it is also a week of sleeping in a tent in a Wisconsin July.

A house solves the specific problems of that week. You can do laundry. You can make breakfast at five in the morning without finding somewhere open. You can leave the sunburnt half of your group at home in the afternoon and go back for the night show. And a group splitting a whole house usually lands well under what the same beds cost in separate rooms.

Book early. This is the one week of the year where "we will decide in spring" means there is nothing left.

Questions people ask

How far in advance should we book for AirVenture?
As early as you can. Our Oshkosh homes go first, and the week is usually gone well before spring. If your dates are already taken, ask to go on the list — plans change more often than you would think.
Can we park a rental van or a trailer?
Every home has off-street parking, and some have garages. Tell us what you are arriving in and we will tell you honestly whether it fits.
Is there a minimum stay during AirVenture?
Minimums vary by home and by season, and the booking panel on each property page shows the real one for your dates rather than a general rule.
Can we bring a dog?
Yes — up to two, at every home. Bear in mind the grounds themselves are not a dog-friendly place to spend a July afternoon, so plan for someone to be back at the house.
Do you charge a service fee?
No. Booking here is the same home and the same hosts as the listing sites, without the platform fee on top.

Anything else, just ask us — we answer these ourselves.
